Have you ever stood in a pool with your young child on the side of the pool in their water wings, held out your arms and said, "Come on. You can do it. Jump in! I won't let you go under." It is scary for a child to LEAP to a new level of ability, even though we parents know they are ready for the next steps.
God is a lot like that with us. He knows we are ready for growth, but we are timid and fearful. That's where TRUST comes in!
